Wanted to tell you a little about myself.  I’m a home based baker.  I absolutely love baking.  For as far back as I can remember, I’ve always been in the kitchen.

Desserts By Donna was started years ago in my grandmother’s kitchen.  Every summer I could not wait to spend my entire break with her in Texarkana, Texas.  I learned so much from her in how she enjoyed cooking for my grand daddy and my uncle.  My passion to bake grew from that amazing experience.

I’ve had many disasters in the kitchen; plenty of pies that started out as cakes. Over the years I’ve practiced and practiced and used my family and friends and neighbors and co-workers as taste testers.  I believe, in order to be truly happy you must love to practice your craft, and I’ve had a lot of practice.

My delicious delicacies are homemade right from my kitchen and made with lots of love.
